Super Burger time 2026 ( July 25 3-6pm)

Are you ready for Burger Time!? How about SUPER BURGER TIME?

The fourth annual ( Super) Burger Time is an amazing burger competition where attendees decide who makes the Best Burger in Chicagoland and beyond!

This year are hosting the event at the Maria’s Packaged Goods & Community Bar
( 960 W 31st St ) and Kimski and 3 LP on July 25, 2026 from 3 to 6 pm.

For this edition we asked all the Burger Time champs from past competitions a some guest Burger Maestros to compete to be the Super Burger Time Champion of 2026.

They will be grilling on flattops and/or charcoal making their tastiest burger for you to enjoy.

The contenders are:
Cash's Kitchen ( Returning 2024 Burger Time Champion )
Chicago Secret Burger ( Returning 2023 and 2025 Burger Time Champion )
Shorty's
Bar Berria
Windy City Burger Social Club
3 Little Pigs
Jem’s Smashburger
Daisy Bar ( Indianapolis burger ringer)

The rules are simple:

You will get 8 tickets to exchange for one sample of each burger.

Each portion is 1/4 of a burger.

After trying all the burgers you will then cast ONE ballot for your favorite burger by 5:20 pm

We will tally the votes and announce the Burger Time Champion for 2025 at 6pm-ish.

We will be selling a limited amount of tickets for this competition to ensure all burgers will be served to all participants. You must buy a ticket for admission.

( Also if you don’t think you can eat all 8 samples of burgers on your own you can bring a friend... you just get one serving of each burger)

Admission includes one Marz Beer or NA drink .

The proceeds from Burger Time go to not for profit, Public Media Institute and the People Power, which helps fund local nonprofits, groups, and organizations that promote civil liberties, immigration defense, and social justice causes.
