A Pączki (pronounced “Pownch-key” or “Pan Chky” depending on how Polish you are) is a traditional Polish pastry that is released every Fat Tuesday by bakeries all over Chicagoland. They are made by frying dough, filling with a variety of fruit or custard fillings, and coated with sugar
And every year, to honor our Polish heritage, we brew the Pączki Stout, a Double Milk Stout with lactose and cocoa nibs, to create our own liquid version of this gluttonous moment.
At Pączki we will be releasing our beloved Pączki Double Milk Stout and selling Pączkis made by Racine Bakery and other guest bakers. his year we are featuring traditional Polish dance program by the Wici Song and Dance Theater at 4pm. And it wouldn’t be a party without The Environmental Encroachment Marching band who will perform around 6pm.
We have a limited amount of Pączki Stouts available for pre-order for PICK UP ONLY on March 2nd from 11am to 10pm ( at Marz Mothership 3620 S Iron St)
